We collect content and other information you provide when you use our Services, including registration and account information, profile details, ratings and reviews, and customer support requests. We may also collect information about other people that you provide to us.
If you make purchases through our Services, we may collect your full name, address, credit card /debit card or bank account information and any other information required to process your request.
We collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content you view or engage with, the frequency and duration of your activities, and your purchasing history. Climate Club may also collect information using cookies or other online tracking technologies as described in our Cookies Policy, available here.
We may receive information about you and your activities from third parties, including your employer if we contract with them, Business Partners who you interact with through our Services, partnering programs related to climate health you sign-up for, payment and delivery of membership services from our service providers, and information from third parties such as advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, and credit reference agencies.
Our Services includes social media features, such as the “Like” button and widgets such as the “Share This” button or other interactive features that run on our Services. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Services, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Services. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the feature.
We collect information which may include Personal Information, statistical data such as Aggregated Information, Public Information and Sensitive Information.

When you create a Climate Club Account, you provide Account Information which is required for you to agree and accept our Terms of Service. Our Terms of Service is a contract between you and Climate Club, and we process that Account information and any additional Personal Information on the basis of performing that contract. We may also process your username and email address on other legal bases, as described below. If you have an employer sponsored Account with us, we may collect and process additional Personal and Payment Information on the basis of performing that contract. When you purchase products or services on our marketplace, we process Personal Information in order to perform the contract that applies to those services.
We rely on your consent to use your Personal Information under the following circumstances: when you fill out the information in your user profile; when you decide to participate in any research project, beta program, or survey; and for marketing purposes, where applicable. We may also rely on your consent when you interact with our Business Partners or participate in Business Partner’s programs through our Services. Our Services are based on tailoring our products to you, but that Personal Information is entirely optional, and you have the ability to access, modify, and delete it at any time. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.
Generally, the remainder of the processing of Personal Information we perform is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interest, for example, for legal compliance purposes, security purposes, or to maintain ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of Climate Club’s systems, Website, and Services.
Climate Club will share your Personal Information with its employees, agents, and affiliates who are authorized by Climate Club to access it, and for the purpose of providing you with the Services or as required by law.
We work with our partnering employers who wish to further mitigate their carbon footprint. They may provide your Account with additional benefits, such as purchasing funds. We share information with partnering employers to help manage and further their climate strategies. In such cases, we will only share your Personal Information with the partnering employers that you have a preexisting relationship with.
We may collaborate with other organizations to further our mission or partner with businesses who share the same values. In these cases, we may share your name, contact information and other details you provided when making an account, and we may share Personal Information that is relevant in order to tailor our Services to you. When you purchase products or services through the marketplace, we may share your Personal Information with our Business Partners in order to provide and tailor the services to you. We may also combine your Personal Information with other information we collected to provide and improve our Services including its products, content, and advertising. Additionally, we may need to share certain Personal Information to provide the Services, such as fulfilling purchase requests.
We work with a wide range of third-party services providers who help provide and make the Services accessible. These include contractors, system integrators, auditors, and others. In accordance with California law, minors under the age of 18 residing in California may remove or request and obtain removal of content and information that they post on a website or other web-based apps. You should be aware that removal of the content and information posted by a minor does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information posted on our Services.
